Using Alternate Transportation

This is the third of five short posts about climate change and how Missoula can continue to lead the conversation in Montana.

Missoula is lucky to have so many great alternative transportation options, from the fare-free Mountain Line and UDash bus service to great bike lines, and our trails through town that make walking and biking easy.

Because of these services, Missoulians can choose to bike or bus all year around.  This makes parking and traffic easier on those who have to drive and improves air quality for everyone, this will especially be the case when Mountain Line adds six more electric buses to those being run by UDash. These busses are cheaper to run and don’t contribute to the air quality issues that we see during smokey summer months and during the inversions in the winter.
