Balancing Veggies and Meat

This is the fourth of five short posts about climate change and how Missoula can continue to lead the conversation in Montana.

Listed as one of the top things individuals can do to fight global warming, reducing meat and increasing veggie portions can be intimidating at first, but with the help of a CSA program it can be fun and easy.

Every Monday we get a heaping pile of vegetables from Garden City Harvest’s Community Supported Agriculture program. It’s a great way to get fresh, local veggies if you (like us!) have a hard time finding the time to tend a proper garden.

Another thing I try and do is to not eat meat for lunches during the week, instead looking for vegetarian options, tho some weeks I’m better at it than others.
